The heart of this piece is the quiet vulnerability of trust — the tenderness of a small creature allowing itself to feel safe, and the privilege of being present for that moment.

Sabrina was a little foster kitten, still discovering the world around her. As their first introduction to so many things, we have the privilege of showing them that the world can be a gentle place — somewhere safe to explore, to grow, and simply to be.

Trust and Tranquility captures one of those quiet moments when that trust begins to bloom. A small reminder that sometimes, the most meaningful thing we can offer another living creature is a safe place to land while they find their way in the world.

Painted by hand using traditional watercolour techniques on 300gsm Fabriano watercolour paper, this miniature measures only 34 × 45 mm — smaller than a matchbox.

The painting is delicately float-mounted within a warm walnut box frame and protected behind non-reflective museum glass. The glazing has been carefully selected to protect the work while allowing the intricate details of the miniature to remain beautifully clear, resulting in a complete, ready-to-hang artwork.

As with each original in the collection, Trust and Tranquility is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, documenting its originality and provenance.
