Until They Meet

Until They Meet

Original Miniature Artwork

There are so many lives moving quietly around us.

People passing through places we'll never know, carrying stories we'll never hear. And somewhere, perhaps, two lives are moving towards one another without knowing it yet.

Maybe they'll meet by chance. Maybe they'll recognise something familiar in a stranger's eyes. Maybe there will be that inexplicable feeling that says, there you are.

I like to think that some encounters are simply waiting for their moment. That, while the rain falls and the world carries on beyond the window, two separate paths might already be leading somewhere neither person could have imagined.

Until They Meet is a small reflection on all the lives unfolding beyond our own, and the beautiful uncertainty of what — or who — might be waiting just around the corner.

Painted by hand using traditional watercolour techniques on 300gsm Fabriano watercolour paper, this miniature measures only 34 × 45 mm — smaller than a matchbox.

The painting is delicately float-mounted within a warm walnut box frame and protected behind non-reflective museum glass. The glazing has been carefully selected to protect the work while allowing the intricate details of the miniature to remain beautifully clear, resulting in a complete, ready-to-hang artwork.

As with each original in the collection, Until They Meet is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, documenting its originality and provenance.
